Responsibility – The Information and Public Relations Office

The Information and Public Relations Office is in charge of the High Court of Cassation and Justice’s relation with the public and the mass-media, in order to guarantee the transparency of the judicial work, in accordance with the conditions set by law.

The Information and Public Relations Office is headed by a Justice appointed by the President of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, who is also the spokesperson of the High Court.

Justice  NASZ CSABA BELA has been appointed head of the Information and Public Relations Office and spokesperson of the High Court of Cassation and Justice.

In accordance with the Regulation on the organization and administrative operation of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, the Information and Public Relations Office has the following responsibilities:

  • receiving and answering requests for public - interest information according to:
  • providing the organization and operation of the information and documentation office, under the law;
  • keeping a record of the answers and the receipts handed in by requesters regarding their paying for the costs for making copies of the requested material;
  • developing the High Court of Cassation and Justice annual report on access to public-interest information;
  • supplying to journalists on-demand and complete information on the activity of the High Court of Cassation and Justice;
  • accrediting journalists and mass-media representatives, without discrimination, and in no more than two days from registration;
  • disseminating press releases, press information material and organizing press conferences, interviews or briefings periodically or whenever the activity of the High Court of Cassation and Justice is of immediate public interest. 

It is the Information and Public Relations Office that performs all activities regarding access to public-interest information and mass-media relations as ordered by the President and the Vice-Presidents of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and that performs any other tasks they order.
